No Android 4.0 For Samsung Galaxy S or Galaxy Tab

If you’re holding on to a Samsung Galaxy S or Galaxy Tab in hopes that either device will see an Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 update, it may now be time to upgrade. Samsung has recently come forth to let us know that neither device will be getting updated to Android 4.0. As for an official reason, well, it seems that there isn’t enough space on either devices’ internal storage to hold both Android 4.0 and Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI – as if we needed yet another reason to hate these Android overlays.

Anyways, if for some reason you must have Ice Cream Sandwich on either of these devices your best bet would most likely be to wait until the community comes forth with their own unofficial ports. On that note we’ll keep you posted.
